Keen Women's Newport Sandal,Seed Pearl/Air Blue,7 M US

Really well made, comfortable sandals, however after trying three pairs with the same issue I am going to publish a suggestion: Order a full size larger than the size you normally wear.

But at 38, and on my feet all day, plus filling in the mid-drift...The shoes I wore in the young hottie days are getting their revenge. Worse yet...at a size 10.5-11 W, I canNOT find shoes to fit.In need of some water wading shoes, I found a purple pair of this model (incorrectly shown as red on this site) that I thought was too "off color" for professional wear, but worthy of play shoes...for a clearance price of $30 comfort to please my desperation, who could deny the deal?SHOOT. I don't care if they had bright flashing fuschia blinkers and a whoopie cushion to boot. These shoes rock.I live 3 hrs from the Birkenstock place I found them in WA, and when I head back that direction, I am clearing the Keen sale shelf, and buying a reg priced pair that is appropriate in style for professional wear. The shoe is kind of wierd looking..but I see Birkenstocks as wierd looking (which didnt work out for me--very painful). If you have plantar faciatis (sp?) problems, here is a house shoe answer. See, I also drop these shoes next to my bed so I can make it to the bathroom in the middle of the night without tearing up my arches. They are SO comfortable. And the shoe is breathable, but not cold, not hot, not prone to stretching with sock on, no sock…

I own 3 pairs of Keens. They are the Keen Jamestown, Keen Venice H2, and Keen Newport H2. In my opinion, there are no shoes out there that can compare to Keen. This is quality at its best! All three pairs are comfortable and never need a break in period. I'm almost unaware that I'm wearing them! They go from hiking and running to trips to the mall or grocery store. Like I said, treat yourself to a pair, they are fantastic. Make sure you order a half size up as they tend to run a little small. Enjoy!

Keen Women's Balboa Sandal,Black,9 M US

These are some of the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. Plus they have a more feminine look than most Keen shoes. I own them in 2 colors and could wear them everyday. I do recommend that you buy a half size larger than you usually wear.

Keen Men's Oregon PCT Waterproof Hiking Boot,Bison/Rust,10 M US

These boots were a godsend after trying on multiple pairs of backpacking boots. My husband and I were getting ready for a 3 week backpacking trip through Scandinavia and I needed to have a pair of boots that would last. The fit was perfect, lightweight and comfortable for my high arches. My feet stayed dry throughout the entire trip, even when hiking in the rain and crossing streams. The high ankle support was great for some steep climbs. Unfortunately, two parts of the shoe broke only a week into the trip. The plastic piece that holds the shoelace ripped out of the boot, and the suede piece that holds the shoelace to the tongue started to rip. It was anything major, but I had to stop quite a bit to retighten my shoelaces.

So wide, you'd think it was unisex sizing. The problem is the footbed itself. Even though you can cinch the upper and the shoe is secure on your foot, you can't cinch it up so your foot can't slide sideways inside it. Otherwise, it's easy on/off, secure tread--never slipped on dock yet. And it would be fine for women w/wide feet who would ordinarily buy a men's athletic shoe. Also seems very durable.

18 of 18 people found the following review helpful: 4.0 out of 5 starsGreat shoes., March 9, 2008 By J. Stewart (Richmond, VA) - See all my reviews(REAL NAME)  I bought a pair of Keens for my trip to Glacier Nat'l Park. They are perfect for rafting because they have the toe-bumper in the front, so it's painless to wedge your feet in the raft. I also hiked for a few hours per day in the shoes, which was also enjoyable, but after a while my arches hurt. They don't have high arch support at all, so I couldn't wear them for too long. My feet got sweaty in the shoes, but they never felt too hot, and with a quick dip in some water, they're clean again (they also dry in a matter of hours)! They seem to run a bit small, so be sure to try on a few different sizes. The width is great, and the colors are fun. Sometimes sand or pebbles might get into the shoe and it can take a minute to remove (you will probably have to take the shoe off), but it's really not a big deal. Overall, I'd recommend Keens for their durability and versatility.
